In addition to Hydrogen and Oxygen (H₂O), tap water also contains minerals. For drinking purposes, this isn’t a problem. However, when it comes to cleaning, the likes of calcium, magnesium, and other minerals remain when the water evaporates away. This leaves hard water stains and unsightly spotting. You’ll notice these build up on any glass surrounding showers or taps at home, or even after washing your car. So, pure water has been processed to remove any sort of these damaging components to reflect results and add glass protection.

Traditional window cleaning as its simplest includes a bucket of water, a ladder and squeegee. This approach may produce an acceptable result for small or internal jobs, but the tap water used as the basis for cleaning is ineffective when it comes to performing professional window cleaning jobs.

Tap water contains impurities, hopefully most of which, are common and purposely introduced to provide safe drinking water. Unless you’re able to remove 100% of the water impurities during the window cleaning process, once the water evaporates, what’s left behind are these impurities – the culprits in causing undesirable spots and streaks.

When used in window cleaning, pure water, even if 100% of it is not removed from the windows, has minimal chance of leaving any residue behind. Not only does it leave behind no residue, but windows also stay cleaner for a longer period and the chance of spots and stains causing permanent damage to the glass over time is significantly minimized.

In its natural state, water contains impurities. Therefore, you have to create pure water through one of two water purification processes, or a combination of the two: reverse osmosis and deionization, which is the system we choose due to its incredible efficiency.

The beauty of pure water, when used in window cleaning, is that when the pure water reaches a surface, the water immediately wants to try and return to its natural state (one with impurities). To do this, the pure water looks for dirt, dust and other particles to which it can adhere. Once the two elements meet, they are bonded together for easy removal during the rinse step of the process. During rinsing, with no dirt available for the pure water to bond with, the water will simply evaporate to leave a clean, spot-free, streak-free surface.

We’re a “young” married couple originally from Barcelona (Spain) that fell in love at an early age and took the important step of embarking on a life journey together by taking care of each other while pursuing our happiness and achieving our golden dreams despite the challenges awaiting; and after 5 years as an Insurance broker myself at an international Insurance Company and my wife as an accountant, we decided to make an adventurous move in our lives to escape from our comfort zone and have an enriching experience from all sort of professional and personal perspectives by moving into Ireland with full conviction, we found in Ireland our home without a doubt.

After 6 years having lived in Ireland and having embraced and tackled many situations of all sorts, some of them exciting like learning a new language to us, adapting to and learning from the lovely and kind Irish people and some other unexpected challenges along with great moments and experiences, we decided to change our professional career, join forces together and own something that we can call not only our job but also something part of what we are. However, you may wonder, why.

This Covid-19 pandemic and all the sudden challenges and restrictions that were brought into our lives have made us evolve, and progress, have also realized about the importance of having control over the elements in life that matter the most.

At the end of the day, there are little moments that one by one and altogether count toward a meaningful day; such as a hug from a loved one, a warm chat sharing a coffee, or being physically present with someone who’s having a hard time and in need of comfort rather than doing it via videoconference or even worse, all alone.

The little moments and the little things shared with the ones you love are key components that cultivate a “home-like feeling” inside us and to learn how to find the protection, hope, and a sense of purpose in life. Little things, like observing life at the window; there’s nothing, not even a global pandemic that can stop nature from keep moving, breathing, flourishing, living; looking at the window while appreciating the little things happening out there, on the other side, like a bird flying high and landing beside your window, like the little drops sliding down the window because of the rains or an intense reddish sun when it goes down; it’s a trustworthy source of joy.

There’s so much life out there and beyond our windows that it was a shame to take it all for granted, and through the unusual times we’ve learnt to look at life, even the little things and moments, with appreciation and gratitude. For many months, our golden window has been the way out and the escape place to have again golden hopes and dreams in mind.

Therefore, we cannot afford to ignore these lessons about life, so we won’t let my golden window “get dusty”, I’ll rather keep our mindset calibrated and our eyes focused on the beauty of the simple things that matter the most.

Honesty  

After dealing with thousands of customers throughout the course of a decade to this point in time, we’ve found Honesty to be a crucial quality for solid and long-lasting relationships.

An honest company will communicate sincerely a clear message from the beginning, which avoids confusion regarding the company’s offers, pricing, quotations, agreed services to deliver and so forth; so, it prevents disappointments; all the opposite, honesty brings strong bridges between the company and the customer, a good reputation that, in turn, will bring more customers due to the “word of mouth” spread.

As a personal comment, at the end of the day, we would never compromise a good night’s sleep and the rewarding feeling that brings Honesty.

Kindness  

It’s obvious to mention that our business will seek profit and financial sustainability as a profit organization; even so, we believe this financial goal merges perfectly well with the idea of showing care and being kind to every customer at every opportunity we get to interact or engage with.

These small gestures of kindness such as a smooth and natural chat, a nice smile, or a genuine interest in their needs will make a small contribution enough to encourage people to treat others the same way and help towards a more united caring community.
